More About Tom Woiwode

A Servant Leader with Real-World Experience and a Heart for Community
As their family grew, so did Tom’s impact. He stepped into healthcare administration, managing Trauma and Emergency Services and mentoring young clinicians. Later, he transitioned to real estate, where he brought the same servant leadership approach—coaching and training agents, guiding clients, and elevating professional standards. Today, he continues to teach real estate licensing and continuing education, helping the next generation build meaningful careers.
Tom has held multiple leadership positions in the real estate community and has spent the past nine years serving on the Executive Committee and Board for the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Planning Commission (MPC). In that role, he has been a thoughtful voice for smart growth, transparency, and long-term planning—always placing the needs of residents and neighborhoods above politics.
Tom and Christy co-own a successful, multi-state, award-winning real estate company. In 2021, they expanded their footprint by acquiring Savannah Millworks, a manufacturer of custom cabinetry and architectural products. In early 2025, they began pivoting that operation toward aerospace manufacturing—bringing skilled jobs and innovation to the region with a focus on quality and local investment.
During the Great Recession, Tom returned to the bedside as a nurse and also stepped in to help lead his father’s furniture business. When his father retired due to health reasons, Tom became managing partner, guiding the company through transition with care and resilience.
Throughout every chapter—healthcare, business, education, and planning—Tom has led by lifting others up, creating opportunities, and doing what’s right, not just what’s easy. His track record reflects not just experience, but a servant’s heart and a steady hand.
Tom and Christy recently celebrated 32 years of marriage. They have four children—Chris (Lucy), Leslie (Conor), Ryan (Taylor), and Hailey—and four grandchildren. They continue to work together every day, committed to building strong businesses and an even stronger community.
